Hey Community,
We just finished our latest feedback session for our speaker training. It was inspiring! Watching our members grow and refine their presentation skills is rewarding. The feedback shared during these sessions helps us become more confident and effective communicators.
Let’s discuss a bit: What aspects of presentation styles are most important to you when giving or receiving feedback? What parts of speaking in front of an audience do you find hardest?
Here are a few things to think about when giving and getting feedback:
Give both positive and constructive feedback. This encourages growth and motivation.
Be empathetic and encouraging. Understand that public speaking can be daunting. Deliver your feedback with empathy, emphasizing that everyone is on a learning journey. Constructive criticism should feel like guidance, not judgment.
Encourage practice and persistence. Remind each other that improvement comes with practice. Encourage consistent effort and provide opportunities for members to present regularly in a supportive environment.
We want to hear your thoughts and experiences! Share your tips, challenges, and advice for giving and receiving feedback on presentation styles.
Let’s support each other in becoming more powerful voices in the tech industry! 😊
