Solution for US Payapp in construction

Hi

we are doing construction projects in the US and have to provide payment applications following the rules of the AIA. We were looking for a standard solutiuon in SAP but could not find anything. 

We have now implmented it with a  sales order with Sales Bom to have a prefined structure to cover all relevant information, like values to be billed, Retention and so on. For each payapp of a project, we create new entries in the billing plan of the involved items. The printout will be based on the SD invoice, but the print programm will get the printed information not only from the current invoice but will collect the Information from the comlete document flow. 

Does anybody else did face the question to realise a payapp in SAP? How did you solve the problem?
