Goodafternoon fellow developers,
Today I saw something that I apparently missed for decades! We use the Profitcenter table (CEPC) and have numerical and alphanumerical values in it (alphanumerical always begin with a letter). I always understood that I could filter the alphanumerical values with from value ‘A*’ to value ‘Z*’ for field PRCTR.
BUT….
When I use these values, entries starting with ‘Z’ don’t appear in the result (we have 3 entries, ZX, ZXX and ZXY). When I use from ‘A’ to ‘ZZZZZZZZZZ’ they do.
Could someone please explain this behavior ?
