GUI ENQUE FM removed locks when GUI is closed

Hi All,

I am using GUI screens to lock a record of particular table and ENQUE FM locks it successfully with type ‘E’ and Scope – 1. When user moves to next screen or closes screen, locks are removed. 

I tried with scope = 2 and 3 as well but no success. 

My requirement is to use retain locks till DEQUE FM is triggered explicitly. Cam someone help me how to achieve this.
