Experts,
I have a CRM frontend that updates Contract account data in SAP ISU. Whenever posting lock is set on a Contract account from CRM, the same is reflected in CAA3 Tcode in ISU. Also, I can click the posting lock field and see the change log( History of which user changed the data and when).
Currently, system updates RFC user name in the change log. I see an option in SM59 Tcode – Current user checkbox under logon and security tab. If I enable this checkbox, F1 help for this checkbox says that the actual user name performing the CRM transaction will be captured instead of the RFC user name.
Question: My client wants to exactly find out who is setting posting lock on Contract accounts. Based on my understanding, I can figure it out in change logs only if I enable this checkbox for the RFC connecting CRM and ISU.
Are there any downsides or points to take care of while enabling this setting? I have always seen RFC user name used in all my clients and I want your thoughts before enabling this checkbox in the system.
Thanks
