FBL*H transactions – OOM Dump(STATEMENT_MEMORY_LIMIT_FROM_GLOBAL_CONFIG) and analysis

Hi! How are you? 

When users execute FB(1-3-5)H operations, the database triggers an Out of Memory (OOM) dump.

OOM dump, memory used is over 300GB and is stopped Allocation Type: STATEMENT_MEMORY_LIMIT_FROM_GLOBAL_CONFIG.

Error Text: “cannot allocate enough memory: [9] Memory allocation failed exception 1000002: Allocation failed $failure_type$=STATEMENT_MEMORY_LIMIT_FROM_GLOBAL_CONFIG $failure_flag$= $size$=18867620288 $name$=TranslationTable $type$=pool $inuse_count$=73513 $allocated_size$=463669603848 $alignment$=8 ,Exception in executor 30040 while executing pop 68”

I can run the query in “DBACOCKPIT > Expensive Statements” via SQL editor without any problems.

When the user runs the same query hours later, it works fine 🙂
