just wanted to ask if somebody has experienced similar problems.
After Upgrading from BW4 2.0 to BW4 2023 SPS03 we have a problem that BW4 “visibility of structure members” with variable, does not work properly anymore in SAC stories with BW4 live connection.
The correct colomns are shown initially when we open the story, but when we change the prompt (for example with Table.getDataSource().openPromptDialog() or the built-in button), it is not reflected in the Story. SAC does not update which columns are shown. It does still work in AfO after the upgrade, so I guess it is some kind of “ina” issue. It used to work before the upgrade. And it still works on our Production System which is not upgraded yet.
Implementation of note 3526839 improved the problem a bit. Now the correct colomns are shown on startup, but not when data is refreshed in SAC. Before the implementation of this note all colomns where always shown.
We also implemented “3523226 – INA : Incorrect variable values in the update section of the auto variable submit call.” and many more notes after the upgrade;
I opened a ticket/case with SAP, but perhaps the community is quicker. If you experienced similar issues please let us know.
