Issue with SAP S/4HANA for Product Compliance (on-prem, release 2023), Product Marketability and Chemical Compliance solution capability.
Solution went live a month ago, with the first bundle of products/materials views (Raw and Unpacked) being created “by hand”.
As this process is very time consuming we are mass uploading materials data via Migration Cockpit. All is well with a major exception: the automatic substance checks, from the compliance requirements such as EU REACH SVHC Status, are not starting and thus, the compliance assessments are not performed.
I’m uploading the data with this sequence:
1. Bulk Raw Material Compliance Info -> 2. (related) Packaged Raw Material Compliance Info -> 3. (Bulk) Product Compliance Info -> 4. (related) Packaged Product Compliance Info (if necessary*) – 5. Analytical Composition
* When uploading the Raw Material Compliance Info, if the logistic role of “sold” is marked, the Unpacked Compliance info is created.
For the time being we are letting out the materials that (will) have a material based composition (as these are few with my client).
