Hello, New York Metropoli region group,
We know that New York is the city of opportunities and networking, and here you can do a lot of things.
Of course, we are here in this SAP Location group.
Most of us follow the SAP events, the meetup, and the SAP-correlated activities. If ASUG organizes some events, we will try to attend.
But what other meetups or free activities do you go to, and which platform do you use?
I can start by sharing with you the platforms I use:

- Luma (https://lu.ma/discover) is a super cool app, really well made, and I’m sorry they don’t have enough users.
When I arrived here, because I’m a developer, I tried to attend as many events as I could, and the most interesting ones I found are:
- The C++ Group focuses on the standard C++ library. It’s a tough event, and even though I no longer program in C++, I find it instructive and eye-opening for specific programming cases.

Google organizes these events, which are usually held in their offices. Even if the topic doesn’t interest me, I enjoy attending to observe their work culture and environment.

Part of my hobby is running, and I use Luma most of the time, but I follow no specific group. Give it a chance; the platform is amazing.
