The routing material description is not visible for the code in CA85N

Could you please help me, in the CA85N, there is a Description field  (LTXA2) .it is not populating the description in the output and i have come across few blogs,’ the field should not be used ‘ . 

If anybody know exact reason please share and it will helps many
