Our organization recently underwent a SAP implementation process and currently utilizes the Vehicle Sales Service Dealer Management System (DMS). Initially, a decision was made by management to use internal SAP part numbers without the Manufacturer Part Number (MPN), resulting in most VSS screens not displaying the MPN.

Considering our company’s primary focus on vehicle aftersales, there’s a growing need among end-users to display the Manufacturer Part Number (MPN) on their screens. This is because item descriptions often lack clarity in identifying the correct part. The MPN serves as an intelligent number, facilitating easier identification. The solution offered by the Application team involves using MB51, but this requires entering each item individually. In a real working environment, this process can be time-consuming.
