I recently graduated and started my career as B1 Trainee in an SAP Gold Partner firm. Apart from the tasks given to me by the firm, I have started SAP Learning Journey for SAP Business One – 10.0 Implementation. I am aware that my first and foremost goal is attain B1 certification.
- Will three months of training and SAP Learning Journey Material be enough for B1 certification exam?
Secondly, I was looking at list of certifications and ‘SAP Certified Associate – Data Engineer – SAP HANA’ and ‘SAP Certified Associate – Data Analyst – SAP Analytics Cloud’ caught my attention. The thing is, most new customers of B1 will opt for HANA database instead of SQL since it has the most new features and what I have observed in my few weeks here is that majority new customers are opting for cloud instead of on-premise. Moreover, I personally find data analytics interesting as well.
- Of the above two certifications, which is a more suitable career progression after few years of B1 Consultant experience?
- Is it a good idea for me to think this far ahead? Should I just focus on learning B1 for now and focus on career progression later?
