Why get_selected_rows of cl_gui_alv_grid isn’t working with only one selected record?

Why get_selected_rows of cl_gui_alv_grid not working with only one selected record?
Is it should work like that.
ls_layout–sel_mode = ‘A’.
And everything is good when it’s more than one.
