I’ve recently implemented Attachment Service OData following this blog: [https://community.sap.com/t5/technology-blogs-by-sap/odata-api-attachments-service-in-sap-s-4hana-cloud/bc-p/13521478/highlight/true]. While header-level attachments are working as expected, but I’m unable to attach files to line items.
I’m receiving a 201 response in both the gateway and Postman, indicating a successful operation, but the line item attachments are not being created.
Could you please suggest some troubleshooting steps or potential reasons for this issue?
scenario as below
Attaching object to FIdocument
BUS-BKPF and BSEG (tried with both for line item )
Linked SAP object key formed as
Header -M***1600****2024 (companycodedocnumyear) – success- attached- – response 201
LineItem – M***1600****2024901 ((companycodedocnumyearlienitenmun)) – failed to attach – but response 201
Can someone suggest on this if you have encountered similar issues.
