Dear David,
I read your blog about SAP’s Digital Skills Initiative and also on How and where do you start a consulting career in SAP? Thanks for your valuable insights.
My name is Tripti Garg and I recently graduated with a Masters degree from the Technical University of Munich. I bring over four years of experience in the IT sector, where I’ve held roles as a Salesforce Administrator, Account Manager and Customer Success Manager. I am enthusiastic about transitioning to SAP, as it aligns with my background in Salesforce administration and customer-focused roles.
For the past six months, I have actively been searching for internship opportunities to learn SAP for more than 6 months now, similar to how I gained experience with Salesforce Admin after my Bachelor’s degree. Despite reaching out to my contacts, I did not receive any positive responses until I recently came across the Digital Skills Initiative.
Regarding eligibility, I am unsure which category best suits my situation. Although I have technical experience, I graduated recently (September 30, 2024) and I am also in a layoff situation, as the IT company I worked (as a working student) for has been acquired and I was not offered a full-time position.
Could you kindly provide guidance on how to proceed with the application process and any specifics that may apply to my background? Additionally, any resources, links or forums where I could connect with others in the program would be invaluable as I prepare my application before the November 4 deadline.
Thank you once again for your time and support. I look forward to your guidance.
Best regards,
Tripti Garg
